You sign in with your Microsoft work account and nothing else. The email on your invoice is just for billing.

A client renewal call ends at 10:30. Soon after, the notes are in your workspace with what was decided and who owes what. You approve the follow-ups and they become Planner tasks with names and dates. The recap email is drafted and waiting. You read it, fix a line, and press Send.
