Pick a theme, change the text size, or switch to a font that is easier to read. Everything applies straight away.

Do it in your own workspace.
Open Settings and choose Appearance.
Pick a theme, then change the text size until it is comfortable to read.
Switch to the easier-to-read font if small text is hard work.
Tick these off
You should see: the app redrawn at your size, with nothing to save and nothing to restart
